October 26, 2011 ViaCLIX Introduces First URL-Free Web Channel Surfing for Smartphones
Available in Europe with Orange from October

Los Gatos, CA -- October 26, 2011 -- ViaCLIX, innovator in web delivery and smartcard technology, announced that its ZapItNow software application is pre-loaded on Sharp’s new AQUOS PHONE SH80F unveiled September 29th in Paris. ViaCLIX’s software introduces a new user experience that makes mobile navigation and content discovery on smartphones, and other connected devices, faster and easier than ever before.

The ZapItNow for smartphones application presents users with organized web content categories, i.e., News, Entertainment, Sports, etc., where customers tap once to choose a channel and then tap again to move through the sites within these categories. With options available to also personalize their surfing experience and set up their “favorites list,” ZapitNow brings input free web browsing to the end user.

Not Just for Mobile Phones

ViaCLIX software also offers carriers and advertisers various ways to monetize content. For example, channel numbers can be leased to Internet sites enabling targeted, interactive advertising. Built-in Smart Card technology protects a consumer’s privacy while permitting the creation of live, interactive content, through clickable text, links, logos, and ways to measure interactive results.

The ViaCLIX technology makes possible a new kind of consumer choice experience.

Now, customers can specify the Internet content that they want to receive on one or all of their electronic devices -- smart phone, computer, tablet or connected TV -- individually or simultaneously without the need for a mouse and/or keyboard. The presentation of this desired content is consistent across all of these platforms.

ZapItNow is the first application for consumers utilizing this ViaCLIX technology. Upcoming product releases for other platforms will be announced shortly.

October 5, 2010 ViaCLIX Releases Complete Carrier Product Suite for Monetizing Internet TV Content
ViaCLIX today released a comprehensive content- delivery solution for carriers that enable them to generate new revenue, while delivering seamless, simultaneous Internet and broadcast streams directly to customers’ TVs and mobile devices.

The product suite (STB design and software: back-end, middleware and client software) is easily integrated into existing carrier infrastructures; the user interface is completely customizable, and carriers can immediately implement new revenue-generating programs such as highly targeted banner ads, a channel leasing program and individual, interactive ads.

Building New Revenue Streams

The ViaCLIX patented Channel Network application makes it possible to monetize positions on the channel menu. Premiere positions on the channel guide can be marketed to broadcast, IPTV providers and web sites. Carriers can also build a custom menu system with content organized into various popular categories like shopping, sports, games, children, etc., for banner ad targeting.

ViaCLIX’s flexible SmartCard™ system enables carriers to offer value-added services or “club features” to their customers. For example, a card can be established for each person in a household; one card can offer secure* shopping, another provide children’s programming. The ViaCLIX Carrier Product Suite

The ViaCLIX middleware technology links the back-end software to the consumer device. These devices include the ViaCLIX set-top box (works with cable, satellite, terrestrial TVs), PCs, smartphones and other mobile devices.
